Priya Village Road show (PVR) is the result of a combined venture between Priya Exhibitors Private Limited and Village Road show The Company has its derivation as Priya Cinema in Vasant Bihar in South Delhi, which was buy by recent proprietor Ajay Bijli's father in 1978, who also own a trucking business, Amritsar transfer Co. In 1988, Bijli took more the operation of the cinema hall, which was revamp in 1990, and its winner led to the beginning PVR Cinemas.
